1939 to 1942 - Young Adult
Following high school, Frances Kinsch went on to study a range of subjects in college, while also working. She had many interests and enjoyed working with teenagers.
Frances was practically a teenager herself when she put on a beautiful variety show at Saint Mel’s Catholic Church in Chicago, one of the largest parishes in the area. All three performances, featuring youngsters from the parish, were sellouts and received standing ovations. The church pastor, Monsignor Purcell, was a Shakespearean expert and praised the show with high accolades.
Although Frances was gifted in the arts, she was also an accomplished executive assistant with excellent shorthand and typing skills that served her well throughout life. This made it possible for her to work in a variety of businesses.
